My name is Nicole and I’ve been training at X3 Sports for the past year. My goal was to lose about 30 pounds. When I signed up, I was completely out of shape and knew I had a long road ahead of me. Since my first day, I was amazed at how intense and interactive the workouts were. After a few weeks, I noticed subtle changes; I was getting stronger, but wasn’t losing weight yet. When I signed up for personal training, I was told my diet needed to change for me to start seeing major results. Once I convinced myself to finally abide by a diet that fit my lifestyle and incorporate an hour of personal training a week, the transformation felt like it happened overnight.
Between August and December, I lost 45 pounds and over 10 percent body fat (that’s a lot!). The trainers and instructors have all pushed me very hard to achieve my goal, but I also had to meet them halfway. Now I am in the best shape of my life, and realize that the weight loss was not possible without both exercise and a healthy diet!
