INSTRUCTOR LED WEIGHT TRAINING
Power Track℠ is an instructor led, weight-training group class developed by X3 Sports. Using a variety of exercises derived from three basic lifts—bench press, squat, and dead-lift—certified strength conditioning instructors closely supervise you to ensure correct form and technique. This class promotes muscle confusion and cognition, which aides in losing body fat and increasing lean muscle mass.
HOW IT WORKS
Power Track℠ is a small group weight-training class. Experienced coaches discuss your goals (like adding mass, losing weight, or getting stronger) and your experience level before helping you determine a good starting point. It is great for everyone, including those who've never lifted before, because you get world-class instructors to guide you every step of the way.
Classes run in twelve-week phases, each divided into four-week blocks. Phases are posted monthly and include the training focus for each day. Workouts are posted daily.
Power Track℠ promotes a sense of community and spirit through in-class competitions to set personal records, and class and individual goals. Each class takes on its own personality making it fun and rewarding.
MINIMIZING INJURY RISK
Further setting Power Track℠ apart from other “strength and conditioning” programs is decreased risk of injury through science-based training. Power Track℠ is designed around safe and effective movement patterns with specific exercises targeting your needs and goals. No matter your physical ability, exercise modifications can be made to ensure consistent progression and success. Instructors train you on proper lifting techniques and recovery.
Even if you have old injuries or you are prone to knee, back, ankle, or other problems, Power Track℠ is still a great option for you. Please advise your instructor of any restrictions before class. Power Track℠ instructors are trained to help you make modifications to exercises, or tell you which ones to skip, so you can get fit while staying healthy.
