Bio
Fun Fact: A fun fact about me is that I’ve been nominated for Fighter of the Year in AMMY MMA for the last 2 years.
What sports did you/ do you compete in?
I’ve done a little of everything under the sun from football to soccer, basketball, you name it. Currently, I am focusing on MMA but I have competed in BJJ, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and boxing as well.
What was/is your favorite thing about that sport(s)?
I have a long list that we can narrow down to one simple word: competition. I love competing!
What's your reason why?
I love that every session and partner can show new ways to do things and help me learn and adapt to new tricks.
What health, fitness, or martial arts goals do you help your clients meet?
I help out with whatever their goals are from shedding a few pounds to toning up and I’ve even helped a few out with competing themselves.
What motivates you to train and teach every day?
Being a fighter I never know who or when I could fight next so it’s about staying ready at all times.
What do your clients and students say about you?
I’m unorthodox and silly but I know what I’m talking about and I’ve even had students go to Thailand and be surprised that they were teaching the same things.
What is your motto / words of advice when it comes to training?
The biggest thing is listen to your body. If your body tells you that you need a day off, take that day off. It's better to have one day off than risk an injury.
