Nia Symone is a former Division I basketball player and USA Boxing–certified coach who brings passion, purpose, and positivity to every boxing and Fast Track class she leads. As a former college athlete, Nia is driven to help everyday individuals tap into their inner warrior and rediscover their athletic potential. Shaped by the discipline, hustle, and sense of community that basketball instilled in her, she believes in giving everything you have in the gym and in life, while pushing through both the highs and lows. Nia focuses on helping clients build healthy, balanced lives inside and outside the gym, creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered. Motivated by making her clients sweat and smile, she leads with heart and lives by a simple truth: you don’t have to be perfect to train, just bring heart and hustle, and leave better than you arrived.

Division 1 basketball
What was/is your favorite thing about that sport(s)?
I loved the reach of community, resources, discipline that was instilled in me, the hustle, and hard work. Basketball changed my life and shaped me into the coach and human I am today to now help others.
What makes you feel like a Warrior?
Someone who believes in advocating for their selves and those around them. Giving all that you have in the gym and in life and pushing through the highs and lows of life.
What health, fitness, or martial arts goals do you help your clients meet?
To have a healthy life in and outside the gym. I want my clients to feel inclusive and that they have a voice and reminding them they can do anything they put their mind to.
What motivates you to train and teach every day?
Making my clients sweat and smile
