Muay Thai

Muay Thai, a traditional martial art from Thailand that dates back over 2000 years, has become one of the fastest-growing combat sports. Dubbed the "art of eight limbs," Muay Thai employs punches, kicks, knees, and elbow strikes, enabling a fighter, or nak-muay, to strike with eight points of contact. This differs from the two points (fists) used in boxing and the four points (fists and feet) used in other martial arts. In addition to striking, Muay Thai incorporates stand-up grappling, known as the clinch.
