Jonathan Baker
For a long time when I played sports I would be insecure of my abilities in every game and scared to make mistakes all the time. It wasn’t until I truly wanted to do it for myself that I got rid of that insecurity. Now I want to help others get past their own mental blocks.
Bio
I'm Jonathan Baker, and my journey in the world of fitness and martial arts revolves around the art of Kickboxing. I hold a B.S. in Exercise Science, but what truly sets me apart is my dedication to both learning and teaching.
As a student and aspiring professional fighter, my focus is on helping athletes break through their mental barriers. I've experienced the challenges of sports insecurity myself, particularly during my high school days when I had multiple college offers for lacrosse and football. It was the journey of self-discovery that shifted my perspective, allowing me to overcome those insecurities and embrace the art of sports as a form of self-expression.
I’m motivated to train and teach every day by the belief that living without regrets requires leaving no stone unturned. I understand the mental and physical hurdles that athletes face, and that's why I'm dedicated to helping others conquer their own mental blocks. I specialize in teaching fighters how to throw combinations that work together and guide athletes toward their weight loss goals.
My clients often describe me as a coach who pushes them to their limits while knowing how to balance intensity. My training mantra and words of advice, "Too strong. Don't Stop. Push through," encapsulate the Warrior spirit that drives me and my students toward success. Join me, and together, we'll conquer not only our opponents but also our inner doubts and fears.
